First blog ! :O

Hello bloggers, You've landed on Planet Heather !
Well, I've officially started up my own blog ! Woahh pretty cool, eh, eh ?! ;) . My blog will be about all sorts of interesting bits and bobs which I'm sure you beauties will love love love ! So to kick off the blog-writing madness...

So, We (Mother and I) went on a trip to London on Tuesday, still recovering from the train and the lack of food. But, We went to the Grace Kelly exhibition, which I highly recommend, it's brilliant! And the costume exhibition is also pretty awesome too. We just went down for the day and managed to get in a bit of shopping, Of course ! We got the tube to Covent gardens and the first thing we saw was an Oasis which i was pretty excited for, considering the one in Preston decided to shut down -.- so, I like what seems to be emerging for A/W in there :D .

The dark colours and romantic textures and silhouettes create a gothic-girly look :) .

I love this outfit, but, being me, i would've belted it :) .
Love it :) .

I like the way this shows the different shades. :) . Not sure about the arms yet though ... :S .

So whilst we were in covent gardens we went into Karen Millen, a great favourite of ours especially Mum's since she found this beautiful coat in the Karen Millen section in selfridges in the Trafford centre :) But it didn't fit her :/ . And later in the year I found a beautiful innovative orange jacket with an off-centre zip. So we went in hopeful, especially as we saw the "sale" sign in the window. As always Karen delivered some modern and innovative pieces in her impeccable style. I've never seen a picture of her, but judging by her clothes I imagine her as a immaculately dressed lady.

Anyway, back to our little trip into Karen Millen in Covent gardens, we praised the new collection upstairs and then made our way downstairs to the sale. Nothing like the new look sale, clothes everywhere with no order and loads of people rooting through several racks of mis-matched clothes. No. A Karen Millen sale is a good experience unlike the stress of a regular high street sale. A Karen Millen sale is organised, all the same garment and the different sizes are all together and there are great savings!!!

I bought this amazing Karen Millen denim dress with beautiful back detail, which I love and will keep me happy for a few weeks ! :) . They even rapped it up and put it in a beautiful shiny new Karen Millen bag for me ^.^ . Chuffed. Best saving in ages ! £120 down to £30!!!

AND there are some big pockets in the front.

Bargain ! :'D

So I'm so impressed with my dress that i bought, well put £10 towards it because my mum paid for most of it, which is even more amazing, because i pay for most of my clothes, so it was an overall amazing day, and I was on a high and then I saw it, the most amazing shop. Ever. I stopped. My mum was very confused as to why I'd stopped until she followed my gaze to the neon sign above the door. *Kurt Geiger* :/ .

*Swoon* ! I wandered in like a kid in a sweet shop and that shop is amazing! The shop is made up of mirrors and is like an optical illusion, it makes the shop look bigger and it looks like there are so many more shoes, which I think would be hard considering there are SO many shoes in that shop! :O . There are some lovely styles including some flat blue velvet ones with a bow. However, I personally think if you're going to buy Kurt Geiger shoes then you should buy some high heels ! We found some great ones downstairs that were £150 which was too much for us, but they were Lovely. Also we found these ones which we love we thought they were so fun and original !

We thought the colours and pattern was great.

If I'm honest I loved most of the shoes in Kurt Geiger. He's an amazing designer :) .

So, that's my first blog finished. Jeez that was long ! :) . Hope you enjoyed it! I'll be back soon with some more lovely, yummy, fashion, shopping goodness !!! :D .

See you soon back on Planet Heather, have a safe journey home! :'D <3
